Natasha Nicholson Conceptual Miniature Chair, 1986
A sculptural miniature chair by American artist Natasha Nicholson, constructed from an oak framework pierced with multiple holes through which black rubber strands are threaded, creating an expressive interplay of rigid geometry and fluid, organic forms. Blurring the boundaries between furniture, sculpture, and conceptual art, the work can be displayed on a wall, shelf, or tabletop.
